Vina Altair Vineyards & Winery-Sideral-Cabernet Sauvignon-Carmenere-Syrah-Cabernet Franc-Rapel Valley-Chile-2008-14.7% Alcohol-$19.98-A strange nose of earth and Petrol, not enticing, dark purple in color.  A medium to full bodied Bordeaux blend with plum, black cherry, currants, herbs and veggies, with a spiced finish.  Had to decant for 48 hours for funk to go away and then it was drinkable, not sure to love it or hate it.           RP-91          WE-88          CR-87          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Companhia Das Quintas-, S.A.-Quinta De Pancas-Reserva-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Touriga National-Alicante Bouschet-Petit Verdot-Vinho Regional-Lisboa-Portugal-2009-13.5% Alcohol-$15.98-A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium bodied, surprised how thin it was for a Bordeaux blend, with plum, cherry, some chocolate, with smooth spicy finish.  Just found it spineless.          RP-89          CR-85          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
