Clarendon Hills Vineyard-Syrah-Moritz Vineyard-Clarendon-Australia-2006-14.5% Alcohol-$34.99-A bold nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black purple in color.  A full bodied single vineyard Syrah, with blackberry, blueberry, bacon fat and smoke, with a very smooth and long spiced finish.  A delicious wine, what I still enjoy about a good Ausi wine that has the alcohol under control.  Still many years of life left but why wait.           RP-95          WS-94           CR-93          Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

St. Hallett Wines-Shiraz-Old Block-Barossa-Australia-2004-14.5% Alcohol-$34.50-A nose of dark fruits and sweet spices, dark purple in color.  A smooch and full bodied Shiraz, with raspberry, jam compote, blackberries, layers of flavor. I have learned with these big Ausi Shiraz’s to hold them for at least 8 years, at it’s peak, good stuff.           WS-91           WE-88          CR-92           Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Domaine Jardin PTY, LTD-Spinifex-Esprit-Mataro-Grenache-Shiraz-Cinsault-Barossa Valley-Australia-2009-14.5% Alcohol-$17.52-A nose of dark fruits and some spice, dark black purple in color.  A medium to full bodied Rhone blend with blackberry, black cherry, licorice and some earthy spices on finish, an interesting wine.           RP-92/91          WS-89          CR-90          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
