Tenuta Poggio Verrano-Dromos-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Alicante-Sangiovese-Cabernet Franc-Maremma Toscana-Italy-2005-14.0% Alcohol-$29.99-A nose of elegant dark fruits and spice, a great nose, dark purple in color.  A medium to full bodied smooth Super Tuscan, with black currants, black cherry, plum, tobacco and chocolate on a spiced long finish.  A really enjoyable blend, decant, years left to enjoy.  Not sure what wine WS tried.  I Choose this wine because it was such a pleasant surprise considering the rating given by Wine Spectator, it was just delicious and is in a great drinking zone.          RP-93           WS-81           WE-91           CR-93           Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
