Jean-Pierre Boisson-Chateauneuf Du Pape-Elisabeth Chambellan-Grenache-Mourvedre-Syrah-Vieilles Vignes-France-2009-14.5% Alcohol-$22.99-A juicy nose of currants, medium ruby in color.  A medium bodied CDP, delicate, smooth, red currants, minerals, light pepper, vanilla, very good.  Gets better after an hour or so decant.           RP-90           CR-90          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

De La Peira-Les Obriers-Cinsault-Carignan-Terrasses Du Larzac-Languedoc-France-2008-14.5% Alcohol-$17.32-A nose of sweet dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color.  A medium to full bodied red blend, with raspberry, black cherry, soft mouth feel, some spice on long finish.  An interesting and good wine.           NR           CR-90          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Chateau Haut-Brisson-La Reserve-Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon-Cabernet Franc-Saint-Emilion Grand Cru-France-2007-12.5% Alcohol-$25.00-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color.   A dry, medium to full bodied Bordeaux blend, with blackberry, black cherry, some herbs and earth on spiced finish.   Was the best by far of three bottles I have tried.           RP-90           CR-90           Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
