Kosta Browne Wines-Pinot Noir-Sonoma Coast-California-2008-14.6% Alcohol–$52.00-A nose of cherries and spice, medium amber in color.   A medium to full bodied Pinot, with currants, cherries, good acidity, dust and spice on finish.   Hard to ever say anything bad about a KB wine, good stuff.           WS-90           CR-92           Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Belle Glos Wines-Pinot Noir-Clark & Telephone Vineyard-Santa Maria Valley-Santa Barbara County-California-2009-14.4% Alcohol-$34.99-A nose of dark black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.   A medium to full bodied single vineyard Pinot, dark in color for a PN, with black cherry, raspberry, currants, with good acidity and exotic spices on long finish.   Not Old World in any way, good stuff, nice waxed cover.           WS-93           WS-92           CR-92            Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Fulcrum Wines-Pinot Noir-Gap’s Crown Vineyard-Sonoma Coast-California-2008-14.2% Alcohol-$53.50-A nose of black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.   A medium to full bodied Pinot, with black cherry, currant, raspberry, some tea and spice on long finish.   A very good wine, still has some years left.           WS-90           WE-95           CR-92           Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Loring Wine Company-Pinot Noir-Keefer Ranch Vineyard-Green Valley-Russian River Valley-California-2009-14.9% Alcohol-$29.88-A nose of cherry and spice, dark amber in color.  A medium to full bodied single vineyard Pinot, with plum, black cherry, some Dr. Pepper and spice on long finish.  A great QPR at under $30.           NR           CR-91           Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Fulcrum Wines-Pinot Noir-Brosseau Vineyard-Chalone Appellation-California-2008-14.1% Alcohol-$26.88-A nose of black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied Pinot, with black cherry, strawberry, some earthy tones with a spiced finish, needs another year or so to develop.           NR           CR-90           Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Belle Glos Wines-Meiomi-Pinot Noir-Monterey County-Santa Barbara County-Sonoma County-California-2011-13.9% Alcohol-$17.39-A nose of cherry and spice, dark amber in color.  A medium to full bodied Pinot, with black cherry, raspberry, Dr. Pepper, vanilla and spice on finish, great QPR for a Pinot.           WS-92           CR-90            Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Bergstrom Wines, LLC-Pinot Noir-Cumberland Reserve-Willamette Valley-Oregon-2008-14.01% Alcohol-$23.99-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark ruby in color.  A full bodied single vineyard Pinot, with black cherry, blackberry, finishes with spice and some earth, good not great.           RP-91           WS-90           CR-90           Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Coleman Nicole Wines-Roman’s Lot-Pinot Noir-Santa Lucia Highlands-California-2009–14.8%-Alcohol-$14.99-A nose of cherries and spice, dark amber in color.  A medium to full bodied Pinot, with blackberry, cherries and spice finish.  A very good QPR.           NR-           CR-90           Good with seafood, chesses, salads.
