2008 Olson Ogden Wines Pinot Noir Manchester Ridge Vineyard Mendocino
Deep, vivid red. Cherry-vanilla and raspberry on the nose, with smoky herbal and floral qualities adding complexity. Juicy, penetrating and gently sweet on entry, then firmer in the middle, offering bitter cherry and dried red berry flavors and a hint of cracked pepper. The sappy finish features solid grip, very good persistence and linge ring florality. This should be even better with a couple more years in the cellar. 90 pts.

More new world than old world in style this is a California pinot lovers delight from a very special vineyard in Mendocino. Fruit forward in character with notes of red cherry and raspberry with a touch of spice and earth to compliment. The wine is medium bodied on the palate with a velvety texture ready to enjoy upon release. 2009 Olson Ogden Wines Alder Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir
Retail Price: $65.00 Sale Price: $42.25
This is not your typical fruit forward California Pinot Noir. It is reminiscent of a more Burgundian style of wine rarely found in California. Deep in color the wine exhibits a deft balance with plenty of structure and complexity to age and evolve over the next 10 to 15 years. There are harmonious notes of black cherry plum and earthy mocha that come singing through. The wine is full on the palate with ripe tannins and a long lingering finish. 143 cases produced.
Warm Regards
