Hello, Friends of Pinot Days –

We are co-producing two spectacular, back-to-back pinot noir events next week: One at the art deco architectural masterpiece The City Club of San Francisco, and the other our second annual Fili-Pinot Dinner at Attic Restaurant with American Institute of Wine and Food. Both of these will be intimate and feature very special producers as you will see.

While these are private events, Pinot Days is offering a very limited number of tickets to our list. When you look over the lineups of winemakers and wineries you will want to come, so please act quickly! Steve and I hope to see you there.

Fili-Pinot Dinner at Attic

Pinot Night at The City Club

The City Club’s Art Deco design is renowned and gorgeous, and this event will be the opening night for their newly renovated Grand Salon. Usually City Club’s events are Members-Only, but we have room for 25 Pinot Days guests. Come walk around this absolutely exquisite setting, learn about Pinot and taste a variety of exquisitely-made and highly acclaimed wines, as well as talk with the gifted winemakers who create them. Executive Chef Michael Munoz will dazzle you with his pairing menu.

Location: The City Club of San Francisco, 155 Sansome, 10th floor, San Francisco, CA 94104

TICKETS: You must register in advance, by clicking HERE. When you get to Eventbrite, enter the code PINOTDAYS and register. There is no fee to register; City Club will collect $25 at the door which will be directed as a donation to Larkin Street Youth Services.

Fili-Pinot Dinner at Attic Restaurant

Date: Wednesday April 25th 6:30pm

Price: $75 all-inclusive

The Wineries and Winemakers: Wind Gap (Pax Mahle), Failla (Kathy Berez), Windy Oaks (Judy and Jim Schultze), Scherrer Wienry (Fred Scherrer), Benovia Winery (Mike Sullivan), Couloir (Jon Grant) and Native9 Wines (James Ontiveros).

Our dinner will feature Chefs Tim Luym and Dominic Ainza’s cuisine each matched with a different specially selected Pinot Noir. This should be a fun educational experience- the best kind, right?- as we once again explore the versatility of this noble grape variety with a cuisine that is not your everyday wine dinner. Filipino cuisine has many influences due to the different settlers over the history of the Philippines. The Chefs will take full advantage of that range to craft a menu for our pleasure. Tim, Dom and Attic have continued to deliver on the buzz over this past year and we cannot wait to do this dinner again. Chef Tim has been named a Rising Star Chef by the Chronicle and is a James Beard Rising Star nominee. Chef Dominic has recently joined Tim in the kitchen from the renowned Mercury Lounge. Location: Attic Restaurant, 234 South B Stree t San Mateo, CA 94401

TICKETS: To pay by credit card (no additional fees), click HERE. To pay by check, please leave a message on the AIWF hotline at 415-508-6790 and then send a check (payable to AIWF) to: AIWF, PO Box 973, Belmont, CA 94002-0973 along with your name, address, telephone number, email address, number of places desired and names of those in your party.

We hope that you take part in everything we offer because there is no wine as versatile and lovely as pinot noir, and no people more passionate, warm and colorful than pinot people.

My best to you,
