Many thanks to all of you for your outpouring of concern and sympathy for us and others affected by the quake in Napa. Luckily, no one in our organization was hurt. It appears that overall injuries were fairly superficial—the timing of the quake no doubt saved many lives.
We have inspected one winery on Silverado Trail (eastside of Napa Valley) and have some barrels that were toppled over, but most of these barrels have thankfully remained sealed/intact. This facility houses all of our high-end projects and single vineyard designate wines and it looks like we only lost a few barrels. Our other facility over on the Westside is still being sorted out but it looks like a number of barrels were toppled over there. We are awaiting final structural inspection before we can confirm damages.
In the meantime, the best we can all do is proceed forward. All our bottled inventory is safe and sound and we continue to ship daily. Again, we appreciate your concern and continued support for our neighbors and friends.
