    CLICK TO WATCH OUR INTERVIEW:
Winemaker and Founder Stephanie Trotter Zacharia

Award-winning Winemaker Stephanie Trotter Zacharia describes wine as Liquid Art – and like art, it should be part of your world and something that enhances your life. Her latest pièce de résistance and an Angel Favorite for good reason? The 2015 “Sam’s Pick" Cabernet Sauvignon, a sweet homage to her son Sam who helped harvest the fruit from this hidden vineyard gem within Napa Valley’s St. Helena AVA. Stephanie also chose to blend in small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot to create this elegant Bordeaux-style blend.
Stephanie is committed to discovering tiny, non-commercial vineyards to source fruit for her wines. And when we say "tiny", we mean a mere 276 bottles of this Double Gold medal-winning Cabernet were produced! When you taste what she’s done with this St. Helena fruit, you’ll be satisfied you chose to re-stock the cellar.
Our suggestion: Indulge in a case or two this winter and enjoy another special gift exclusively for Cellar Angels members: a VIP Tasting Experience for 6 at a select Napa Valley restaurant with Winemaker Stephanie Trotter Zacharia.
    Find it here.
    Cheers,
    The Cellar Angels Team

trotter 1/16 "sam’s pick" cabernet sauvignon tasting notes:
With its deep, brilliant garnet color, the wine is striking in the glass. Fresh blackberry, dark plum and wild berry custard tart intermingle with beautifully integrated hints of vanilla extract, spiced cedar and dried mint. Medium-full bodied, with a mouthwatering acidity and fine, lingering tannins, the palate is packed with spicy dark fruit, bakeshop spices and subtle coffee notes. Be sure to give this wine 30-45 minutes to decant before you enjoy. Cheers!

Show Your Support: Help Save The Family Farms of the Napa Valley
Save the Family Farms is made up of owner-occupied grape growers in Napa Valley who also produce wine using off site facilities in Napa County. Current regulations prohibit tastings and the sale of Napa Valley wine on these family farms, making it virtually impossible to legally make a living growing, tasting and selling wine. There’s a risk these small family vineyards will disappear…if nothing changes. Visit change.org to sign the petition and help create a balanced playing field.
