Allegrini Fumane-Palazzo Della Torre-Veronese-Corvina-Rondinella-Italy-2006-$13.99-A rather subdued nose, ruby red in color.  A smooth, polished Italian Red, dark fruit, mocha, and spice, a very good value.              RP-90           CR-4.5              Good with pasta, chicken, veal.

Shoofly Wines-Shiraz-McLaren Flat-Australia-2008-$7.99-A big fruit bomb nose, dark purple in color.  Raspberry, blackberry, plum and spice, a fun wine to drink with or without food.  If you like Old World wines don’t buy this, but for $8 bones it sure delivers.                  WS-89             RP-87        CR-4            Good on it’s own or with pasta, burgers, ribs.
