Slingshot-Cabernet Sauvignon-Napa Valley-California-2007-$19.99-A nose of dark fruit, dark amber in color.  A medium to full bodied Cab, smooth, nothing complex with blue and blackberry, some spice, average for price.                   NR                     CR-85                     Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Bodegas Tarima S.L.-Monastrell-Jumilla-Spain-2009-$6.99-A nose of sweet dark fruit, dark purple in color.  A smooth, medium bodied fruity red.  Blueberries, plum, licorice, some chocolate, a simple easy drinking nothing complex midweek wine, hey it’s $6.99, has a cool label.                  RP-87                WS-82                 WE-87                    CR-84                     Good with meats, chicken, cheeses.
