Dominari –Petite Syrah-Napa Valley-California-2007-$31.50-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark black in color.  A full bodied, big wine, most likely still too young to drink.  With cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate, good flavor profile, tannins still there, decant for a few hours if you plan on drinking it now.                 NR                   CR-90                  Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Samuel’s Gorge-Shiraz-McLaren Vale-Australia-2004-$19.99-A nose of dark fruit and some heat, dark black purple in color.  A full bodied, rich Shiraz, with heat which is mostly contained, the bold fruit over comes it.  With blackberry, cassis, licorice and rich spice, a vey good mouth feel, with a long finish, decant for an hour.                    RP-91                  CR-91                      Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
