Hug Cellars-Cedar Lane Vineyard-Arroyo Seco-Sauvignon Blanc-Central Coast-California-
2007-$18.00-Light, crisp citrus nose, light pale tint. Good acidity, grapefruit, kiwi. A good
summer drinking wine, Sauvignon Blanc is not my favorite but this was good. I visited Hug Cellars a
couple years ago, Augie and Raquel Hug make very good small production wines. NR CR-3.5-4
Good with seafood, chicken.
Mendoza Vineyards-Agua de Piedra-Gran Reserva-Malbec-Argentina-2007-$11.99-A buddy at
work brought this in to try, seriously heavy wine bottle, a weapon. Hard to comment on nose since it
had been opened the night prior, dark color. Smooth, a good mouth feel, good dark fruit. A good
Malbec especially for the price. NR CR-3.5 Good with steak, pasta.
