Zepaltas Wines-Babushka-Chardonnay-Russian River Valley-California-2009-14.1% Alcohol-$33.98-A nose of bright citrus and spices, golden yellow in color.  A full bodied Chard, with apple, melon, hazelnut, with smoky spices, good acidity, a delicious white wine.  Cool Label with the dreaded wax top.               NR             CR-92                 Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.

Firriato S.R.L.-Cavanera-Etna Rosso-Nerello Mascalese-Nerello Cappuccio-Italy-2007-13.5% Alcohol-$18.00-A nose of sweet cherry and some funk, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied dry red blend, with raspberries,  cherries, licorice and spice on finish.                          RP-92+            WS-85            WE-89             CR-87               Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
