Dear (hopefully soon to be full-fledged) SQNer ~
First off THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your continued interest in our wines and for your incredible patience. Please know that the wait to send you an offering letter is surely as painful to us as it might be to you. Although we apologize for the long wait (just can’t beat what Mother Nature endows us with), but we are exceedingly happy to at least offer you something at this time.
We’ve mentioned it several times in the past and finally (FINALLY) we are ready to actually offer up that book of ours, called “The Art of Sine Qua Non.”
Here now a few insights and information about it.
It is a relatively hefty, cloth bound, hard cover coffee table book that measures about 13 inches by 9.5 inches and is comprised of some 250 pages of beautiful paper.
It starts out with a foreword by Elaine (who knows more about the craziness at SQN than she does?) titled “BEHIND THE WALL.”
This is followed by “REFLECTIONS” on the formation and history of SQN by Manfred.
Then there are several chapters ~ “ACTS” we call them ~ on the progress of SQN:
     ACT 1 “INCEPTION” (1994 – 2002)
     ACT 2 “ELEVEN CONFESSIONS TO THE EXIT” (2003 – 2011)
     “OCCASIONAL ROSÉS” (all the rosé labels)
     “PROJECTS, OUTCASTS & REJECTS”
      These are the labels for the various projects we have worked on, the labels that we like but
      that ended up not being used on bottles and the labels that were rejected by the pleasure police.
     Of course the book has to close with a chapter of hearty THANKS to the many who inspired us,
     supported us, encouraged us, believed in us… all the wonderful folks without whom this book
     would not exist.
These books will only be sold through us to our active mailing list and waiting list friends. Since we are wine makers and not writers or book publishers and there will likely be only a one time print run, it is possible that we won’t have enough books for all the requests. To cope with that we will process the orders as we receive them (on a first come – first serve basis) and then that’ll be it. So if you are interested…as you should be… don’t mess around, but place your order quickly.
