Linne Calodo-Paso Robles, California-Small producer of highly rated wines, known for their blends

of Zinfandel, Syrah, Mourvedre  and Grenache.  Their wines are amazing, bold, peppery, dark fruit

favors with long, long finishing mouth feel.  Best way to get their wines is through their Wine Club,

although some can be found in better good stores.  Some of their wine names are; Nemesis, Sticks &

Stones, Slacker, Outsider, Rising Tides, and Cherry Red.

Kosta Browne Winery-Sebastopol, California-Pretty much the only way to obtain their wines is

thru their Wine Club mailing list, or in restaurants.  They make very highly rated Pinot Noir and one

Syrah. Their wines are known for rich Pinot Noir favors, smoky, savory dried berry, cola, anise,

and minerals, with vibrant, elegant finish.  They make a Sonoma and Russian River Pinot in larger

quantities, small production of Pinot’s from Amber Ridge, Gary’s and Rosella’s Vineyards, Keefer Ranch,

Kanzler Vineyard and 4-Barrel, their Syrah is from Amber Ridge.

Caldwell Vineyard-Napa-California-John Caldwell’s wines are very highly rated and difficult to find

due to their relatively small production.  His wines are big, dark fruit, smell and taste great and will age

in your cellar.  He makes a Cabernet Sauvignon called Gold Label, Silver Label and a blend called

Rocket Science which has one of the most unique bottles that tapers from bottom to top like a

rocketship.
